Terms and Conditions

1   A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required to secure your booking for bookings above £100. For hires under £100 a deposit of £10 is required.  The full balance must be paid no later than 14 days prior to the event.  We accept payment by means of PayPal / Bank Transfer or cash (cheques are not accepted).

2  Cancellation results in the loss of your deposit made at the time of booking.  Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the event will be subject to a late cancellation charge of 50% of the full balance due.  If for any unforeseen reason Lights Candy Action cancelled the booking, any payment made will be fully refunded, including deposit.  Lights Candy Action reserve the right to cancel at any time.

3 Lights Candy Action reserves the right to update the hire pries at any time.  However, we will not increase your price once your deposit has been paid.  

4  A £100 refundable deposit will be required and requested with your final balance.  This is to cover any breakages or damage to the equipment by any persons other than our own staff present at the event.  This will be fully refunded at the end of your event if nothing is damaged or broken.  If in any case the value/breakage is far higher than the deposit that the customer has left, the customer is liable to pay FULL breakage and damage costs. 

5  Lights Candy Action cannot be deemed liable should any guests at your function take an allergic reaction to any sweets/cakes/biscuits provided at your event.  Should any of your guests have a nut allergy or similar please notify us and we can try our very best to provide alternatives for guests with such allergies.  If an alternative cannot be provided, it is the customer’s responsibility to notify their guests. 

6.  Children should be supervised at all times.  Lights Candy Action staff cannot be held responsible if a child chokes on any items provided at the event. 

7  Our free delivery will be provided to all hires over the value of £50 within a 25 mile radius of FK5 4HY.  Additional charges will be added to cover equipment hire out with this area, this will be communicated once we have the venue address.  

8 Please note it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure there is suitable space for the hired items at the venue, and that access to the venue is available 1 hour prior to the event starting to allow for set up. 

9  If placing an order for hiring products from Lights Candy Action you are deemed to have read and agreed to our Terms and Conditions included with our online booking form.
